Norbert Gingter

* geboren 1958 Mönchengladbach, Fotograf und Maler

Lebt in Sevelen am Niederrhein und in Berlin-Charlottenburg.

Das Handwerk des Druckers stand am Anfang: schwere Maschinen, der Geruch von frisch bedrucktem Papier, Druckfarbe - das war seine Inspiration… Seitdem hat er eine ganz besondere Beziehung zu Farben und Papier.

Ursprünglich aus dem traditionellen Handwerk der Drucktechnik und Typografie kommend, hat Norbert Gingter sich über die kosmetische Branche als IT-Manager in der Luxusgüterindustrie (LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), hin zum kunstproduzierenden Fotografen und Maler entwickelt.

Er arbeitete u.a. für Unternehmen wie Christian Dior Parfums, Parfums Givenchy, Guerlain Parfumeur, Kenzo Parfums, Acqua di Parma und Benefit Cosmetics. Diese Erfahrungen haben seine Art zu denken und zu arbeiten weitgehend mit geprägt.

Heute widmet er sich ausschließlich der Kunst.
